Twenty-two contestants started the contest March 3rd, and due to the starting number of contestants being lower than expected, only two were eliminated - Andrea Spoelstra and Randi Baergen. Last year's 3rd place winner Joe Todesco showed up to compete, as did 9 others from previous years, with the
balance made up by new entrants.
